On July 1, the Russian Congress of Canada hosted Canada Day celebrations in Toronto’s North York’s main park Earl Bales park. The holiday turned out to be colorful, varied, cheerful, cozy and warm. And the celebration and cake were free for everyone. Thanks to the City Councilor of North York, James Pasternak, for supporting the celebration. “Amaranth”, a duet of representatives of the Bashkir-Tatar diaspora, Arthur Kantemirov for an interactive circus show, many thanks to the Infinity dance & Acrobatic Show duet Dmitry Shevchenko and Maria Pipkina for their amazing performance. Thanks to the masters of their craft – musician Mikhail Khinkis and singer Anna Coning for the wonderful songs and the organization of the dance program to live music. Thanks to Natasha Kulikova for the yoga class for the guests of the holiday, thanks to Ksenia Kotova for painting children’s faces. Special thanks to our volunteer assistants, those who provided a welcoming atmosphere and comfort to our guests, who fed and watered, who served Canada Canada cake, and gave everyone care and kindness.
